Creating an account

Account creation or signing up is the first step to start purchasing products on the Galileo Marketplace. You just need a crypto wallet address to get started.

Don't have a crypto wallet? Visit this Getting started with metamask guide to set up a MetaMask account.

Once you have a crypto wallet address, proceed with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to app.galileoprotocol.io 
  2. Click Login in the upper right corner of the site, you will be redirected to the sign-in page.

  3. If you prefer to authenticate with Google, click on "Sign-in with Google" and follow the steps below. Alternatively, if you choose to use your email and password, click on "Don't have an account" at the bottom
  4. Fill in your information
    1. Name: Enter your name as requested
    2. Email Address: Enter your active and accessible email.
    3. Password: Create a password with a minimum of 8 characters, including at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 numeric character, and 1 special character for enhanced security.
    4. Confirm Password: Re-enter the password to confirm.
  5. Click on "Connect Wallet", and you will be prompted to link your wallet. Ensure to confirm the connected wallet, as it cannot be changed later.
  6. To proceed, kindly confirm the provided information and you need to agree to the Terms and Conditions.
  7. Click on "Sign Up"
  8. Following the next step, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address. At this point, you can still change your email address in case if it snot the correct one.
  9. Now check your inbox, you should have received an email from hello@galileoprotocol.io. In any case if u couldn't find the email in inbox, kindly check your spam folder.
  10. Click on the confirmation link inside the email. Once clicked, you will be granted access to log in to the marketplace using your registered email.
